Complaints Procedure

Any complaints or comments about the service can be made to the practice manager by completing the comments form in the surgery or contacting by phone or email.

We endeavour to get back to you within three working days, acknowledging your complain and informing you of any action.

Aegis Medical Centre has a statutory duty of care towards children and young people at risk. We are committed to the best practice which safeguards children and young people irrespective of their background.

Patient Personal Records

Health and care organisations make every effort to keep your records accurate.

To help us to keep your information as accurate as possible at Aegis Medical Centre we would appreciate if you can inform us if any of your personal details need updating. This can include phone numbers, addresses, next of kin details, name, or consent on records who we can talk to.

You may need to provide evidence to change the details, for example proof of address or change of surname after marriage.

Zero Tolerance

We operate a zero tolerance policy we do not tolerate abusive or violent behaviour.

We aim to give patients high quality of care in our environment. Whilst you are in our care and visiting the premises you have the right to expect courtesy and consideration from our staff.

We follow the NHS Code of Practice and the G.D.P.R regulation. Our privacy children’s and adult’s notice are displayed in the waiting room and on our website. We have a robust system in place to protect all your data.

Personal health information is strictly confidential and will only be divulged to other parties if we have written consent or are required by law to do so.
